13,138 square foot conference center consisting of a large assembly/worship space, smaller conference area divisible by folding partitions, rear projection/electronics room, catering kitchen and miscellaneous support spaces.
Unique Challenges
Exterior lighting posed a problem as building could be seen from a distance
Site was below site sewer on the campus
Solution
Larson designed the exterior lighting to minimize spill over into the offsite areas as well as to complement the building aesthetics. A sanitary ejector and force main was designed to lift the sanitary discharge from the building into the site sewer main.
