Village Cooperatives

Larson Engineering, Inc. has provided the structural engineering services for almost two dozen senior living cooperatives over 20 years, all over the country.  The residences offer a wide variety of amenities including underground parking, fitness center, outdoor garden plots, and community rooms.  The three and four-story wood framed buildings on podiums range from 115,000 sq. ft. to 185,000 sq. ft.  Construction of the podiums and foundations vary between precast plank and post-tensioned slabs, conventional footings, and deep foundations.
